Hi folks - just wondering if anyone knows if cafes, etc are open airside in Dublin Airport - heard last week that everything was closed airside in Cork Airport!

Yes lot of places open again, some never closed (Duty Free, Butlers, Boots, WHSmith, Wrights of Howth) and some small retail units have disappeared.

Cork airport fully closed yesterday for over a month. That won't have encuraged any reopening.

Things looking bad when there's a full reopen, Q-Park is now closed down, parking prices are going to go straight to the moon.

My experience was travel in August and June of this year. I hear the Aircoach is back in its old position in front of main door and further routes added.

All the shops you want open are open. Cafes, bars, and duty-free shops. The shops that have no need to be in an airport like lingerie or weird have shut for good.

There's reduced capacity at food venues and the upstairs food in T2 isn't open (and Chopped in T1 is gone, I think) - so there's queues for sit down food in both terminals. Burger King in T1 was the only one with seats on Friday at a fairly quiet time!

Chopped had already closed ahead of Covid. I found seating near the 'new' Starbucks in T1.

Are they actually gone do you know? I saw it was empty the other week and you can't book but I still wondered was it temporary.

Gone in terms of current operation.

I'd asume as a car park it's viable, unlikely planning would be given for homes that near the airport.
