Horizontal Layens Hive

    Does anyone on this site use Layens Horizontal Hives?


    I have a Colony in a National hive but am interested in keeping Layens hives. I alreaduy have a Layens that I bought.


    I am looking for advice from people in Ireland who use them.

    Hiya,

    Couldn't message ya on YouTube so here is easier, yes I run layens, so so much easier than nationals, I think if things restarted and everyone had a choice things would be different, The UK is seeing more diversity in the hobby side of it, but to buy bulk here or the UK, then nationals have the lead. I made up an insert so i can accept a national nuc, or i could create one from a layens, to swap with friends etc. I'll pm my details to you
