Ryanair App not saving credit card details

Hi all When I use the Ryanair app in Ireland it does not use or store saved credit cards. When I use it in the UK it works perfectly. Anyone with similar problems.

paypal or google pay would seem better options than ryanair holding you CC details? IMO anyway. Better to have your card details in one trusted place than separately in many apps. Also means you can easily update with a new card when it happens!
Recently checking in a bag over weight and was able to pay on the spot without having to retrive card details.
