    No UFO's ,, No ancient aliens,,

    It's way way too far to travel, just to hover over some rust bucket US coast guard vessel, and zoom off back home again. 

    Any civilization out there, that may have FTL ships could easily keep an eye on us from a very safe distance, we would never know they were there.
