Can I turn off the tamper coverage to one individual sensor ?

I'm getting an intermittent tamper fault on a zone but the sensor is fully clipped on to the base bracket and the cover is securely screwed in place also.

You can if its an RF device, Device menu, RF Zone options.

If the zone is wired you would need to bridge out the tamper either in panel or at sensor.

Im also in need of help doing this on my wireless system - is this option under 'Eng Tools Menu'? I cant find the RF Zone options here...would really appreciate any help so i could disable the tamper on one sensor. Thanks in advance...

Thanks for the reply. I couldn't access my account for a while and only saw your post just now.

In my RF Zone options menu I only have :

" Settings " ( mine is set to MED ) and

Mon Sup ( mine is set to YES ).

I think my panel might have an older version of the software so maybe I don't have access to do what you suggest ?

Its sounds like you may have an older version and the device is a PIR.

Id recommend getting software updated to allow extra options in programming mode.

Had a engineer out today to di a software update as we've been having tamper issues for last 2 weeks since we replaced all the batteries on our wireless system. Not convinced it will solve it🤔

With the newer software you can in the programming disable tampers on RF devices but id like to know the reason for the tamper issue in the first place rather than just programming it out of the system.

Curious myself , as the faults were running in exact numerical order, 18, 19, 20 and 21. No idea why zones are not 1 to 11 , is it normal to commence on 10 ?

If you have a 10270 installed after the scan of the sensors it starts at 11 to add wire free sensors.

You can scroll back to zone 1 and start but makes no difference, unless the first 10 zones have wired devices on them.
