Wondering does anyone have experience of a family holiday to barbados. I wanted to go around easter so a lot of europe is too cold then. Is it a good spot for a family, or more of an adults holday?

Sure, pretty much anywhere in Caribbean is nice that time of the year. Why Barbados? It is nice but definitely one of the most expensive ones. I would look at Mexico/Dominican Republic if you want to go so far. Check out club Med resorts, some amazing facilities for the whole family but loads of other super nice places as well. Other poster suggestion of Tenerife is nice but weather can be really unpredictable, we were there twice, May and July, both times water was very cold and winds were cutting through. Would you consider Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt? Amazing weather in April, you can get the best all incl hotel for half the money vs Barbados, amazing snorkelling and half the travel time vs Barbados. Anyway, if you give us more details - might be able to help better :)

Its very possible to do Barbados on the cheap

Sharm el Sheikh is a super idea though, great beach, great resorts and cheap but not trashy

Many many options for families,at 100 a day and half that

Just had a look on trivago,7 nights at the incredible four seasons resort in Sharm el Sheikh for just €1600 in April

Totally refurbished just this year and that's incredible value,we were there a few years ago and it was stunning then
