Screws for attaching downpipe to rendered wall.

What type of screws do you recommend for attaching a downpipe to a rendered wall? The downpipes are all cut to fit and ready, so I just need to screw the brackets for the downpipe to the wall. However, what type of screw should I use? The wall is a hollow block wall with sand and cement render, and two stories high.
