New iPhone - what model and where do I buy it?

I have never bought an iphone and know very little about them but I need to pick up one as a gift for my daughter. She has a GoMo contract so just want to buy the phone outright and I do not want to spend more than EUR500.

Which model should I get based on that budget?

Where should I buy it online as I need delivery in the next 10 days?

Will the GoMo micro-sim work in it?

You could get a brand new iPhone SE for 499. The SE model is basically the budget model.

Yeah, that's good advice. High end iPhones are pricey, but the iPhone SE is a really solid device, more than suitable for anyone on a budget or anyone who just doesn't need to have the latest and greatest in their pocket.

Also, I have a gomo sim in my iPhone 12 so you should be fine.

Is this a surprise for you daughter or can you talk to her about it? The SE has a touch input and a smaller screen. An older phone with a larger screen May be preferable.

also apple have an event next week and prices fall after that. Not sure if it’s immediate though.

Check out adverts. Many city stores advertise on adverts and you can call to the shop and collect.

Adverts. Search for Seller called Gshock - much cheaper than RRP and all legit. Have bought easily 30+ phones off him over the years for friends and family without issues. You'll get a sealed iPhone 12 mini off him for 539 at the moment and plenty others. 1000s of positive feedbacks.

Also the price of the SE is crazy, they have gone up since released over a year ago! I got one on Vodafone 128gb version at launch for 350 as part of a port over and get 100 off(PAYG not bill). Gone up now!

Who said anything about unwanted upgrades? Some are grey market imports. I wouldn't question it anyway, the 1000s of feedback for the top users speak for themselves.

Funny enough I was talking about overpriced SEs in my post above, I picked up an Apple replacement one (so brand new) with a case and glass protector for €299 yesterday.

hello, I ended up buying the phones at Harvey Norman and got the higher memory and fancy colour options for the price of this base models. Still cannot believe how much they cost and ended up getting two of them. Harvey Norman were quite good to deal with.

HN price was identical to Apple direct for base model 13 but they upgraded to double memory and the fancy colours at no extra cost. Still silly money to pay for a phone and could have bought eight very decent Motos for the cost of the two apples.
