Smell from Sutton processing plant - what can be done?

There's a big sewage processing plant beside Sutton Dart station. Sometimes walking by it the smell can be unbearable. I don't know whether the smell is the actual sewage, or the chemicals use as part of the process. However it seems to have gotten worse.

Usually the wind blows the smell away from inland but I've noticed it a lot more in recent weeks. Can anything be done, or has anyone heard of a similar complaint being raised? Not sure if it's FCC or Irish Water's responsibility.

I remember that place, it isn't a processing plant it's just a pumping station AFAIK

I believe any issues should be reported to Irish water. Even if the station is operated by Fingal it's usually on behalf of Irish water

Thats going on for years and will never be solved, utter mis -management of the facility

My sense of it is that the smell is comming from rotting seaweed on the beech and foreshore which is particularly bad when the tide is out and the ambient heat releases the odour.

The council need to clean the washed up seaweed and remoVe it on a weekly basis.

No it's definitely not that. The smell is coming directly from the building.
