Never liked him. His porn star career was mainly before my time but I remember him appearing on either The End or Good Grief Moncrief in the late 90's and he came across like a right creep. Possibly, but part of me also thought (when I first heard this story) is why would he bother? As part of his job (for decades), he has surely fulfilled every fantasy a hundred times over, with hundreds (thousands?) of women (would he not even be a little bored of sex at this stage?). If he "wants some", he just has to turn up to work - why would he need to rape? Even if it is dominance/rape fantasy thing, I'm sure he could simply do one of those pornos rather than doing it for real.

He's innocent until proven guilty. Another innocent person could have their names dragged through the muck and be subsequently found not guilty. Like that poor rugby player whose life was ruined by lies. Why can't the defendant retain anonymity before a guilty verdict is reached?

Rape isn't an act of sexual relief or gratification, it's an act of violence. Picture a football hooligan. He gets off on the thrill of punching random supporters from another club but he doesn't necessarily feel the urge to batter his friend or brother or mother or wife.
