If your in a job and are sick for a couple of months unpaid, is there any way to adjust the current tax credits or do you have to wait until January to get an overpayment refund? TIA

When you return to work, you will get the benefit of the 2 months unused credits against your next month's pay, assuming you weren't receiving Social Welfare.

Your tax credits are done on a cumulative basis, so you will automatically get the benefit of the unused credits.
