I have just a quick question, my sons 2010 2ltr audi tdi is gone into limp mode, so hasn't got the power, and the DPF light is on the dash display, so he is going to leave it in to some place that actually specialises in this DPF cleaning.. But I was just wondering if anyone else had a blocked DPF and used a special cleaner and went on a long drive and did it work?? Can you even drive a car that's in limp mode over DPF,.. Basically I'm looking for advice as I don't want to see him paying too much. I how much is it for a DPF cleaning? Also if anyone knows of a good mechanic it would be much appreciated!! Thanks for reading!

    Where are you based ??

DPF Cleaning can be expensive and can vary wildly from place to place. Best to check with a local mechanic who doesn't do it and see who they recommend.
