Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

"Clews made of sand" at Grattan Beach

    Hi everyone,

Last week I went for a bath to Grattan Beach, Salthill, that is great though, and what I saw on the foreshore is a number of "clews", some small, others bigger, brown-coloured.

At first glance, they seem to be earthworms, or residues of fishing nets covered by some wet sand, but they are not, they are fully made of sand, so I got curious and decided to ask.

How are they formed? Anyone here knows?

    Thank you!

    M.
