Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Car finance questions

    Hi.

    I bought a car on finance about 14 months ago for my misses. It was an i20. She uses hand controls and finds the car is too heavy and strains her while turning.


    We want/need to get something lighter.

    Can I ring the finance company and explain this to them and get a new car?

    Ideally sort the finance out with them and then have a choice of dealers to choose from.


    Any advice would be greatly appreciated

    You can just trade it in at any dealership and the dealer you trade in to will clear your finance on the i20....assuming you have any equity in it. Can be done but may not be financially favorable to you.

    It's not the car that is heavy. It the steering rack/power steering. You can get some heavy cars that have really light steering all depends on the setup of the car.

    You can also get some with adaptive steering light going slow and heavier when going fast.
