Travelling to Spain - Spth form name issue?

Hi,

I am travelling to Spain tomorrow evening and I completed the Spth form. Problem is though that I had to register without my middle name (as my vaccine cert does not list my middle name). This means that my Spth form (which has the QR code that you need on entry to Spain) does NOT use my middle name however my passport does.

Will there be an issue with that does anyone know?

As an example (not my real name):

Passport - John Paul Waters

SPTH (and vaccine cert) - John Waters

I'd the same issue but I changed my digital cert to match my passport after listening to Eoin Corry the travel journalist on some programne.He was saying that it was advisable that everything matches the passport.

If any help the person who scanned my Spth did not look at passport

One of my children Spth QR did not scan correctly not sure why they just told us keep going

That was my concern (hence this thread). My name change request won't come through before my flight but I'm hoping it will be okay. I plan on bringing my passport (which shows my middle name) as well as my drivers license which doesn't so if they ask I can show two valid forms of ID.

Your date of birth is on both passport and vaccine cert and first/last names will match. Could be potential for it to fail an auto verification check but any human looking at it should see it matches and makes sense.

Shouldn’t be an issue. I travelled to Spain with the surnames on my passport and cert not matching as one was in my married name. No issue raised at all- they barely glanced at them.

No worries, I've been going over and back for the past year, they just scan the QR Code and do a quick glance over the information. It's just for contact tracing, the main thing if your contact information is correct. My name was actually backwards on one of them. If there is any problem you can just fill out a physical form anyways. Seen it plenty of times in Malaga.
