RTE 1 not scanning in on samsung smart tv

Hi, i have managed to scan all free to air tv channels on my tv except rte 1, does anyone who why rte 1 hasnt scanned in? i have another non smart samsung tv in the house which has scanned in rte 1 so cant be the signal then 😫

Which transmitter are you receiving?

There are two frequencies on each transmitter, carrying Multiplexes (Mux) 1 and 2. RTE 1 is on Mux 2 along with other channels e.g Virgin 3, so you may be missing more than just RTE 1.

Meath doesnt appear on that list, it could be the dublin one then

You will know from the Channel Number / Frequency on which you are getting RTE 2 Mux 1. Then try a single channel scan on the one for RTE 1.

When you are in the menus, look at the signal readings, Quality is the most important I think. Digital signals can give a perfect picture from a weak signal.
