Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Conveyancing costs?

    Hi All

I’m a bit surprised about what I was quoted today for conveyancing of my late parents house - it has just gone sale agreed…. TBF, maybe I completely underestimated it, as I’ve never sold a property before….So I was hoping someone might be able to advise whether the price quoted is fair?

The property is €380k (I’m assuming this affects the quote ??) and I was quoted €2750 incl VAT. I’m in Dublin.

Any feedback on this would be gratefully received

    TIA

That sounds like you got a quote for purchasing rather than selling so double check.

Value shouldn't affect the quote, if it does go elsewhere.

Fees should be like 1.5k or so
