Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, I'm an AO in the Civil Service currently applying for mobility. I'm wondering if anyone could tell me what their (or some they know's) experience has been working in the Office of the Ombudsman? I'm looking to find out if it is it a nice work environment, what type of work it is, and whether there is a good work/life balance.

I'm also considering applying for the Public Appointments Service, The President's Establishment, Department of Rural Affairs, and Department of Arts and Heritage, and would be grateful for any similar experience / knowledge of those organisations.

I'm primarily more concerned with quality of life for the moment than promotion, in case that has any bearing on answers.

    Thanks.
