Commercial vehicle/pickup as your daily passenger vehicle

Anyone on here ever used a 5 seater pickup as their daily passenger vehicle. How do they drive to regular passenger vehicles or do you notice any difference in comfort levels? e.g. Ford Ranger, Hilux, Navara

They're not the most maneuverable vehicles and they are thirsty.....if you are OK with all that you could certainly use one every day. Very soft suspension on them and they can be bouncy. Personally I wouldn't daily one if it wasn't for a particular work or lifestyle purpose. You're liable for normal tax rates not commercial but nobody does this really, very easy to get around and not enforced.

My opinions are based on Mitsubishi L200 and Toyota hilux my father owned and I drove quite a bit. Hilux was the far better machine.

The Ford Ranger seems to be everywhere. The spotless hi-viz jacket wearer's vehicle of choice at the moment.

I took it for a test drive twice and noticed no difference.
