Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

External Insulation Pitfalls?

    Hi all,

I was looking to get external insulation for the house. I think it should be fairly beneficial. However after discovering a neighbour's external insulation is now stopping me getting Eir/Vodafone broadband, I'm just wondering if there's anything I should do to the house before I get it done? Or is there any pitfall I mightn't be aware of?

It seems most utility companies absolutely refused to touch it, so would this mean if say we get a new fibre for broadband, I won't be able to get it because they won't drill through the insulation? It's almost like I need to consider any potential drilling into the house first.

Just looking for any thoughts on it tbh.
