Sourcing plants beyond Brexit

    Hello all

    as we are coming up to planting season, I’m wondering do any of you have good links or experience with finding specialist plants in the EU? I look first in Irish nurseries, but with our population the range of varieties can be limited and there’s a good bit of legwork phoning them as our horticulture sector is not yet internet-savvy.


    I used to use the RHS plant-finder, as that linked me directly to the UK growers for specific plants but as we can’t import plants from the UK any more I’ll look more towards Germany and Holland as the next nearest powerhouses of horticulture. Does anyone know of something similar to the RHS search in those or other EU countries?


    I’ve just ordered some grapevines from this site in Germany https://www.rebschule-schmidt.de/

    It’s not an option to arrange Irish delivery directly on their website, but an email sorted it for me.
