So we made this video of our Best Team Never to Win an All-Ireland.

I'd genuinely love to start a discussion with other GAA heads and see what changes you'd make to our team.

It's just our opinion, end of the day, and a very subjective topic.

Only thing I'd change is I'd keep it to players who no longer play county. The couple of Mayo lads are still active, McManus still playing. Just a pet peeve of mine. They haven't "never won it". They just havent won it yet. Anyway, best of luck with it.

Nice team. If ya were to move the still active players out then ya have likes of Declan Browne, Michael Meehan or Dermot Earley to call upon in the forwards.

I'd just nominate the 1985 monaghan team , 84 league champions, centenary Cup finalists, lost the 85 sf to kerry after a replay. The best team I've seen not to make it over the line. I might be bias though :)

Going back a bit but rossies Dermot Early would be acknowledged as one of the greats of the game. I think it was the 85 connaught final in the Hyde that he was carried shoulder high off the pitch by some of the mayo team.

We focused on players of the Millennium, so players actively playing from 2000 - present.
