Savings account sitting for long period of time

Hello

Wondering if someone can contact me to discuss a savings account I have that has not been touched in several months.

There is funds in the account and I want to ensure there won't be any issue with the account being automatically closed etc.

My colleagues can certainly check account for you on 0818365365 if there has been no debits to account in the last few years, it maybe inactive and colleagues can offer you guidance with this. Team are available weekdays 9am-5pm.

Thanks for the reply, the reason for this is because I'm out of country for the forseeable, are there standard time limits on accounts in such circumstances ?

Thanks for getting back to us here.

Generally savings accounts will become dormant within 2-3 years if there is no activity. My colleagues can certainly check this for you by following the steps outlined in Alisons' previous post.
