They are fecking everywhere but Facebook and Instagram seem to be the worst to offenders. I have already got fouled once but not again.

Sadly as the internet will continue to grow, so will the scams.

Unfortunately, once you’ve fallen for one scam the rest will follow you around.

All my ads are for hot single ladies who live nearby for some reason.

I'm not on Facebook or any other social media but on the internet in general i think you'd want to be pretty dumb to be caught out by a scam .

If you are a criminal the Internet offers endless ways to scam people and because almost everyone uses the Web there s plenty of victims out there . I don't know how people fall in love with people over the Web without meeting up in real life like being catfished some scammer uses darting apps to look for victims

I disagree. There is lots of very clever scams out there and ot is very easy to fall for one if you have not done your research. I honestly thought I was buying off a genuine website but it looks like I was scammed. Luckily it was not that much.

You’d be surprised. Some are remarkably hard to spot

i use revolut as my safety blanket against being scammed so I dont use my main Bank account anymore for purchasing online,Just transfer the required amount into revolut and keep a few euros in it at anytime. With all the hacking going on having credit/Debit card details etc with other companies online is just to risky now.

Apologies in advance for hijacking the thread. Has anyone else been inundated with these scam calls claiming that your PPS number has been suspended due to it being linked to criminal activity? I've had 3 this morning so far. The first one I answered as I'm hoping to get a phone call in relation to something personal. I simply said hello and this foreign sounding voice launched into this guff about my PPS number being suspended etc etc. I hung up immediately without any further discussion, or pressing any keys on my keyboard. Received another two since. Pressed the accept call button, but said nothing. They then hang up after a few seconds. All the numbers begin with +353863002, by the way.
