Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You can look up that caravan and get the specs for the weight.

Worth having a gander at something like this to understand the terms: https://www.caravanvlogger.co.uk/caravan-weight-payload-mtplm/

There's usually a small steel plate near the door frame of a caravan that will have the weight and other details.

    Hi there,

I would check out this site before matching a caravan to your car. Very good tool as it has every car and almost every caravan in the database for matching. It also rates the match on hills and with various loadings. Especially important in my experience is to get the down weight on the towbar correct for a stable journey. https://towcar.info/

The towing limits for the car will be on a plate/sticker inside the door, under the bonnet or in the boot. Your owners manual will show you where the sticker is.

Towing limits stickers ware normal thing on cars decades ago (example https://www.towbarexpress.co.uk/maximum-towing-weight). But from what I see new crap like Kia may not have it, following new philosophy that customer do nothing more than refueling his car and he goes to ask (and pay) service for every simple issue like broken bulb or wiper :(

Thanks everyone. That website is fantastic! I will check the car for the sticker this evening instead of relying on websites.
