HKC monthly charge

Hi All,

A few years ago I got a HKC system in and was paying €12/€13 per month.

It included a yearly service and the sim.

I am now told that it doesn’t include the service and it’s just for the sim.

Does anyone know how much is the sim?

You would need engineer access to set up your own account if planning to pay for the sim yourself.

If service is not included now then you should not be paying for it if.

It should be 5 euro a month just for the sim afaik

I have the hkc SIM and app linked to my alarm system, I pay about 67 euro a year.

The guy (owner) I used to deal with seems have left.

The person I am dealing with now is adamant the service was never included!!! I have never paid separately for a service and got the alarm in 2015 (I think).

Do you know how I can leave them and pay the €5 elsewhere?

Looking at getting cctv so maybe whoever does that can swap over the HKC?

If panel is locked it will need to be defaulted and set back up but can be done.

Thanks I made a few calls today. It should only €60 a year paid direct to HKC!

It will need an engineer code to swap it over but apparently the engineer should know the code?

I hate being ripped off so now am defo not getting the cctv with :(

Yes, if you know the engineer code then you can set this up yourself.
