John sounds like the sort of sham barfly that hangs around inner city boozers, looking for victims to recite this story numerous times daily in the hope of cadging a free pint off of ya.

Somebody (fairly high up) in RTE must have made the decision many years back that "misery sells". It must be an editorial decision surely? How else coud one explain the number of misery, illness, death, child abuse, mental illness etc obsessed presenters on the RTE roster?

    Joe

    D'Arcy

    Miriam

    Brendan O'Connor,

Cos he sees fresh blood in a gullible Yank. If he plays his cards right and drops a few crocodiles, he could need a new liver off of the Sepp come The Angelus.

So before he went on holidays we had a week of Stardust and now he's back we have a week of the Dublin bombing.

You'd nearly think Liveline are trying to avoid what the whole country is talking about. And/or a lawsuit that could cost thr state more money.
