    Why does anyone care about the apology from the Taoiseach? He's only been in the job a wet week(literally). He hadn't been born when the tragedy happened.

    An apology over the current state of the health service would be more apt.

    I know it's meant to be symbolic, but still.

    I've just heard RTE will be going loive at 14:55 for the apology so by all standards of informative public radio (ahem, Liveline) shouldn't that mean the extensive Liveline crew and Lord Duffy will be able to devote today's show to many, many other issues that Ireland would like to be discussed/debated.

    Newstalk said they are going loive to the Dail at 2pm.

    Whoy the 2 main radio stations in the country need to broadcast the same thing at the same time is somewhat beyond me.

    For RTE Radio 1, surely an extended lunchtime news segment would make more sense?

    I know! RTE, making sense… something of an oxymoron.

    Mother of God. Has anyone here ever heard it? It's pretty challenging stuff. Full symphonies, atonal contemporary classical, solo violin or piano or cello for more up to an hour at a time!

    Basically all the stuff Lyric was supposed to do originally but now fenced off into the middle of the night where no one will notice!

    SJP is a woman of substance, if she's into that.

    Joe: I suspect as it's in an Irish hospital it's very well looked after.

    You can't assume they treat all the patients very well, after hearing the reports of that coroners hearing on the news. Why would you assume they treated the monument well?
