One question that has not been asked is dis Tubridy pay income tax on the ‘extra’ money earned. We’re revenue aware of it. Was it a ‘benefit in kind’ arrangement which is taxable/ payment equivalent made could have been claimed as an expense

.also Tubridy resigned/ retired from presenting the Late late. Where does this decision lie in the context of his contract and what kind of a contract is/was it ie ‘a contract of employment ‘ OR a ‘contract for employment’. Revenue at least had a problem with this a few years ago . I wonder if came to any conclusion. There is a very significant difference , tax wise, between both
