Sure, English nationalism is deluded as well.

Have to laugh at Joe there when Jarry was mentioned - the chilling effect of legal letters.

I always wonder did Joe pal around with the Official IRA types around Trinity College (the “good” middle class Stickies who worked in RTÉ and the Irish Times) when he was getting himself arrested for the werking class?

Saw on a thread the other day about it that we don't care in this country because we respect privacy. :D :D

Yep, that's why everyone in this country wants to know about Bono's tax affairs and what your neighbour had for dinner

I'm out. I'll rush through a bit of wurk and feck off and hopefully see Morocco doing a few victory jigs against the Spanish

Also shops down the country have greatly improved, plus there's online shopping, no need to go to Dublin unless you want to buy fur or something very high-end, at which point you'd probably be better off shopping in London or Paris.

Remind me caller was dat the time he was arrested for protesting at the price of sausage rolls in the refectory or or when the fashion police were annoyed wid him for wearing onyx cufflinks wid a duffle coat and pairing a duffle coat wid a pair of 'Farah' slacks and a pair of desert boots.

I didn't even last the full show - and it was my first time listening for more than a few minutes in some time - but my God that was some crock of shoyte today. It was FunnyFryday level bad. One thing I can safely say is Dee Forbes either does not listen to this embarrassment of a show OR she's so afraid of Joe/NK that she just turns a blind eye, OR BOTH.

The head of a local station couldn't stand over that quality of output, but it's deemed worthy of the National airwaves - and making a multi-millionaire of a host who'd be out of his depth on hospital radio.
