They will be able to add that to the overall advertising revenue to justify Joe's wages.

Along with the ads for the Claire Byrne show, Ray D Arcy show and the RTE Orchestra(s)

I haven't listened to Liveline in almost a month. Back then he was threatening to talk about influencers and infertility ads. Today he's still threatening to cover this "story" 🙄

Another case where the promo bears no reference to what is actually on.

It's February 2024 it's coming in, the labels here will have a special code on them, forden cans won't have this., what gobsheite researches the show? No retailer has to accept them back it's optional if you want to have the machine or not.

Tony from Lipton's in Clones yet again. Beginning to wonder how many genuine calls Liveline actually get (as opposed to make).

Yup. I was sure tge 6-1 news report mentioned 2024, and it’s machines so not a lad lobbing a sack of cans across a counter. FFSyou just have to ring upstairs to the newsroom.

It's the worst idea in the entire state, the recycling infrastructure is already there with green bins for household collection. You will need to replicate the entire bin truck fleet a 2nd time.

What does Betty from Birmingham and Anne from Cannes and John from Cork and Louis from Capel St think of this?

He won't have to accept the fooking cans and bottles back, it's optional.

I wonder if Joe still gets paid in notes. Down to Bank of Ireland Donnybrook of a Thursday and out he comes with 20,000 foivers, to spend in Burdocks and Hector Grey's.

If this came in before we got green bins in homes it would have been a great idea, now it's idiotic.

There are bottle banks in supermarkets that take cans bottles etc and you can get cash for them in most european countries it's mainly homeless that use them.

It won't be lucrative if people are collecting litter cans and bottles as they need to be 100% intact to be given a payment for.

So we pay the tax on these cans & bottles. Can we put them in the recycling bins we already pay the likes of Panda to collect? And will we get a refund off them or cheaper bin charges? Not a hope. F**king stupid ill thought out scheme.
