How about Robot Priests to fill the roles of dying vocations? They are getting more realistic every day. My first ever computer program was in Basic and involved an interactive confession. Technology has come on in leaps and bounds and I’m sure with a bit of creativity the soul wand couldn’t tell the difference between a bot priest and a real one.

I don’t care what anyone says, at the end of the day the church is a business. They do do some good work but despite all that, they’re a business and a faltering one at that. They can pay for their own heating.
