Not least all the boyos that got decent supports to construct giant wind farms paid by levies on our ESB bills, are guaranteed a floor price and now availing of rapidly increasing profits due to the rising price of gas. Win, win, win, win - all the way. Who wrote and signed these contracts with them? The only way they might lose is if there's a spell of no wind and even then they may have a guarantee of some sort.

    Scandal.

I think Joe could pay for this couldn't he?

If he thinks it is totally essential.

Will it get to the stage that there will be a light police going around after 11pm fining homes who have the lights on after that time? Sales of blackout blinds would rocket.

I don't begrudge it to her...but I don't see why the tax payer should have to pay for it

I still see in the window of the local hairdressers a row of old dears with their heads in the machines, having their perms set and smoking away. It is like a flash back to the 70s. Their elecy bill must be sky high! The barber just need to add a surcharge for the use of the clippers. Customers can get a blade 1, value for money cut.

I would think the emanating hot gases from the lower region would warm his seat sufficiently.

A lot of companies try and pull this crap, they purposefully make it painful to switch. Need to do it all via email, make sure to have it on paper so to speak.

Record all your contacts if ringing them. They record calls as well.

Sky offered a deal then denied they had...but the recording proved they had so they had to give it to me.

In my experience anyone coming at the door with deals to switch has a high probability of scamming fooking things up on you, happned to me eith broadband and nearly happened with electricity.

The heat pumps are a conspiracy theorists wet dream, locking you up to 'the mans' grid for life. If the power goes those people will need to be taken in to the nice warm prisons to stay warm.

The wood burning stove will be the last thing to go if neccessary. In a zombie apocalypse scenario, you can still cook on the stove. Going full electric was very short sighted.
