Hard to believe it’s almost 30 years since Century radio/century fm was on the air as Ireland’s first national independent station. Disappointing that it failed. It was the tall ships event alright but in Cork city centre. Just off one of the quays. Don’t remember the reg plates. I guess they toured the country with it but it stands out in my memory how distorted the sound was that day.
