Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Does the 5K grant apply to new car sales only and not a dealer selling a used ev?

    New to the ev game but wondering how best to get the best company (and family of 2 kids ) car I can for an employer allowance up to 22K. No bik obviously but I’d need to fund the excess over 22K which I’d prefer not to do. So have possibly 27K to play with.

    Any suggestions greatly welcomed.

    the seai grant is only on new cars.

    If the EV is a used car in a dealers, then the grant was already applied at the time of initial registration to the original owner.

    The price you see is the price you pay (minus haggle obviously).
