    I presume the obvious answer is measure twice and make sure you dont balls it up, but i just know ill end up with one screw marginally out :(

    is there any knack that can be used to make sure i am accurate?

    80cm wide mirror with two mounting points part way down the mirror.

    Its going into a wall panel that is 140 cm long and 86 cm across.
