We need one more forum regular to vote. Who hasn't? Time for a PM 🤪

Oh I dreamt that this would happen. This is like Dublin v Mayo yesterday lol. Except we can not let Enterprise be defeated by a small less powerful less loved craft a ship that we barely know against one that generations of Star Trek fans love. Surely the Enterprise aka the Galaxy class should win or should I say the Galaxy class also known by most fans as the Enterprise-D should win.

Wait, which ship's Dublin in this scenario? 😜

Im driving back to Dublin shortly. I'll leave this open until home. Then if no more votes, I'll role a dice on it.

    2,4,6 Galaxy

    1,3,5 Steamrunner

Until then, votes and shenanigans are welcome.

Well seen as the Enterprise is basically a city in space I suppose it would have to be Dublin lol.

I'll be honest. I was halfway to creating a new account to vote for the SteamRunner when I realised I hadn't a spare email address - so foiled at the first step. Laziness 😁

By virtue of the Enterprise D legendary status, Galaxy class get a reroll if it loses right?

What's that second last Borg clip from? FX look too good to be from First Contact I'd have said.

To the vote, I'd go for the Defiant. Cos. - obviously! It was built to literally defeat Borg vessels 😁

    It's from Picard isn't it?

Defiant, big engines with big guns strappped to them. I imagine the design brief Sisko submitted was "they took my wife, I take their life."

Borg cube. I love the Defiant but the cube is just so weird and instantly recognizable

I do like the Borg cube's simple aesthetics and ominous green glow, but have to go Defiant .

    Resistance is not futile.

Borg cube had been defeated by the mighty Defiant.

    Miranda Class...

This is also the fate of many of them though :(

I never noticed that Sabre(?) class in the top left getting vaporised by the Cube exploding before.

As for the vote I do like the Miranda but I'm voting for Peregrine because I like fighters, although now that I think about it its role is more that of an attacker, and it's very unique ship for Starfleet.

Miranda, all day long. Its appearance in the opener of Lower Decks Season 2 was a lovely surprise for this unapologetic fanboy of Trek's Best Ship.

Miranda - it's so good it even shows up in the Peregrine's gif.

Miranda class for me. Its a classic from its very first appearance in "The Wrath of Khan" to its latest appearance in "Lower Decks".
