Nestboxes

Hi, a house nearby has about 5 long white nestboxes up near the roof, each has a number, also is a black box which I’m guessing is for bats? It looks different in shape, Are these for swallows or swift’s, does the home owners put theses in place or is it bird watch Ireland or some group? Looks very interesting, could hear…

Could be a House Sparrow terrace too. The home owner probably put them up.

My guess is swift boxes, especially as they are numbered. Swallows nest inside buildings.

Sometimes, with Swifts, they use audio to attract occupants.
