Balterio grande laminate vs engineered wood flooring

    I am wondering about getting one of these throughout my downstairs. Everything I have read/seen says that Balterio grande laminate looks like real wood and is also water-resistant, making it suitable for a kitchen. Whereas engineered wood looks amazing but is absolutely not water-resistant.

    What are people's experiences of getting engineered wood vs laminate, particularly in a kitchen?
