Some nice phases there - Lowry getting targeted with a few whacks early on.

    And a quick camera cut.

Ulster getting the benefit of some marginal calls.
The ref is definitely a confident communicator.

Goggin a bit lucky there, should have given it.
Quick pass from Coombes earlier in the play kept it going nicely.

    Nice try

People have been calling for Munster to play expansive offloading rugby. Does this count?

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 10,247 Mod ✭✭✭✭aloooof

Munster leaving some rucks a bit isolated (Daly and Fineen caught with little support in the last 5 mins) but really liking a lot about this performance.

Stockdale scrambling on his hands to contest the ruck there. Ref says good.

Wycherley has been very aggressive and Daly looking very sharp.
Goggin surprisingly so too given his layoff.

    Daly having a tidy game

Should that not have been a goal line dropout as opposed to a 22?

Edit: never mind I see in the rules missed kicks are still a 22

    Was that an elbow?
    He's off for that.

    High hit from Addison?

  • Registered Users Posts: 423 ✭✭AlfaZen

How is that not a card for Addison?

  • Registered Users Posts: 22,242 ✭✭✭✭Akrasia

    What was he thinking?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,947 ✭✭✭theVersatile

Addison in trouble - he's dropping but the tackle is never legal anyways (forearm/elbow lead). Could be red.

Who píssed on Addison’s corn flakes this morning?
He’s been bulling for that since the game stated.

    Horrible, cheap shot.

Have to say Addison's arm was never in a natural position at all there, no idea what he was thinking.

Shame because he was looking lively with ball in hand.

Still maintain that Coombes should have been capped rather than sent back to Munster during the 6 Nations. He's a monster of a man.

Would like to see Salanoa and Healy being introduced with a good chunk left on the clock, now.

He was hardly on the Lions long list was he?

Terrible contest. This rainbow cup is such a flat tournament, so obvious that a lot of teams aren't invested in it. It's a pity the way the season was screwed up but covid made it so unpredictable, hard to avoid.

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Maybe if Rowntree had gone instead of McBryde...

In all seriousness though he has the look of someone who could be a mainstay in the national side

Haley seems to be improving all the time. He's only 26 too, could play himself into Irish contention.
