So I am in my early 40s and I have had to take viagra/Sildenafil for the past 2 years or so after an operation on the prostate. I did have a medical card and paid €2.50 per month for 4 tablets. I have gone back to work a few months now and notified the HSE so my medical card was taken back (fair enough).
I'm wondering about the price of Viagra. I see Viagra connect is available over the counter. All chemists seem to charge the same 4 for €25 or 8 for €45. I'm just wondering if I had a prescription, would I get them cheaper. My GP recommended I use them so would be able to get a script. Just wondering if it would be worth my while

If they are on prescription you can claim the tax back at 20% on the cost so the cost to you would be cheaper.

Oh yes, I never thought of that. I’ve been buying the 45 euro pack. Could be claiming 9 euro back. Cheers man

    Dude, get the generic version,
    About 15euro for 24 tablets.

And to add to that , get the 100mg tabs, you can break them in half or quarters.

If it's already prescription you have you can get the generic version much cheaper. Also pick up six months at once will save on prescription.

Also if your getting 50mg get a prescription for 100mg, get 24 and cut in half for 48

Is it really that much cheaper, wow? I honestly don’t mind buying the generic version. I have used that in the past. That’s some difference

Afaik you can retain your medical card for 3 years after returning to work, might be worth checking.

Good point. That’s exactly what u used do. When I used get them on prescription I got 4 x 100mg a month, cut them in half and got 8 out of them. The viagra connect comes in 50mg so I use one of them at a time

If you don’t have a prescription use use an online doctor , not sure if I can say the name here but they have pharmacy’s around the country.
Get a prescription 25euro for 100mg generic viagra, they even email the prescription to the pharmacy of your choice, you just go and collect it and pay.

Oh thanks. I just sent them a letter saying I was now back in full time employment. Then my card expired and they didn’t offer to renew. To be honest, viagra I don’t mind paying for if i can get it that cheap

Only works if they are on prescription. If you buy without prescription there is no tax relief

Hello, serious question but once you cum does it flop and is it just to make it harder? I cum too quickly is my problem, will this help?

Premature ejaculation is a different issue to erectile dysfunction. But sildenafil may delay ejaculation somewhat. Not sure if it helps with P.E. though.

Once you cum it will go soft like it normally would. And it only goes hard when you need it to. Like anyone not taking it
Sounds like you have PE premature ejaculation. There is medication for that too. Your GP can advise

And pharmacists charge to fill prescriptions, so that’d make it more expensive than if you just bought it otc.

So I emailed a couple of pharmacies to ask for advice. I’m quite shocked at the price differences.
One pharmacy in Dundrum said - Sildenafil 100mg brand €28.45 generic €2.50 4 tablets.
A second pharmacy wrote back quoting 8 Sildenafil 100mg €13.90
this certainly is better than €45 for 8 x 50mg viagra connect over the counter

16.84 in lloyds for 24 last time I was there but you can't get the prescription online anymore since brexit. That was leaving it 41.84 for 24 100mg

Try taking some viagra, if you blow you will be ready to go again pretty quickly , rinse and repeat and probably rinse and repeat a few more times.

Spot on mate. I got an online prescription from Laya €25. Got 24 x100mg which I then half for €17.66 in boots. It’s generic but does the job. It’s like 48 (half tabs) for under €43. Beats the 8 over the counter for €45

Is their any side effects? Back in the day I took counterfeit sildenafil. It came as a flavoured gel. More just messing as a lad. Lots of alcohol and if I got lucky.
The thing is my upper body got so warm would go really red. Face and head to. Like noticeably.
Does this happen with the real one?

Those gels were ropey as fcuk. No, the real stuff does not do that, at least not to me. Sometimes get a headache, and occasionally a blue tinge to my vision (at least that's what it seems to be!), but not always.

Numbing spray is what you need. Use that in conjunction with your blue pill and she won’t know what hit her ;);)

Have bought the Viagra Connect in Boots but just don't find it as good as Sildenafil that I was getting off a mate. I would split the 100mg Sildenafil in half and be rock hard for hours. I just find the 50mg Viagra to be grand for the price it costs.

Anyone know where I can pick up 100mg Sildenafil in Dublin without going to the doctor?

Yeah for me it is, really hot red face, sometimes a headache and blocked nose and blue vision too

Hi mate. Yes. My very first prescription on Laya, the doctor only gave me 16 a month (16 x 100mg). Once you place your prescription order, you can go back and edit a note in for the GP. I say 16 don’t last me the month and ask for 24. They normally do it.

€13.56 for 16 x 100mg Sildenafil accord today in boots. I usually get Sildenafil Clonmel but a different brand today - Accord. At €13.56 it works out at 85 cent a pill. I also half them as really 50mg is loads, so thats €0.43. The over the counter Viagra Connect is €25 for 4 x 50mg tablets. Thats €6.25 per pill. Crazy crazy difference.

Yeah 100% for me head goes bright red , nose gets blocked and I went through a long phase of waking up the next day with a splitting headache, that comes and goes though. Had a phase of getting the runs after but havent had that in a long time, thats about it though nothing major.
