Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This might be a dumb question but what's the difference between the Irish version and non Irish version? Just Irish terminology is it?

No unfortunately it is a good bit different from my understanding.

Some great Irishisms and humor in Irish one.

Different hand signs for different sign languages.

eg ISL alphabet is one handed. BSL alphabet is two handed...I think...

If you are lucky enough to have a garden let it grow. They love dandelions which incidentally are completely edible.

I saw a big field of dandelions in Tipperary last weekend. On enquiry I was told a farmer had set aside the land for bees. Fair play to him. A lot helluva more should do the same.

In theory it's a fantastic idea but farmers gotta make a living too!

    |I know. Every square inch is sacred. I know it's pie in the sky but it would be great if any spare land could be "wildflowered".

I've a few acres rented out in Tipp myself for small money but it's well looked after and crops rotated. I'm thinking of taking it back next year and doing something like that with it myself.

That performance by bell x1 was just weird, and frankly rubbish. How can a band produce 2 or so really good albums, then produce fairly crap stuff after that, and then just spend the rest of their lives trying to rehash their glory. A far more embarrassing e ample of this is picture house and them playing that one song they always play. Bell X1 are still talented musicians why can’t they create any good new stuff??

It's top notch. The renter has had maize on it for the last 2 years on an experimental basis. When this is over I'm taking it back for reasons I won't get into here. It owes me nothing and I'm thinking of doing something with it myself after next year when the contract is up.

I fancy taking the car from east to west and having a snackbox in Salthill and then heading straight back to Dublin, just because I can.

    Shnackbox, surely?

As we were talking about the chocolate at the end of Cornetto's from the Bell X1 tune last night, I see you can now buy a Cornetto that's just entirely made up of the end of normal Cornetto's, I shall be purchasing them this evening to sample as a research project :pac:...
