Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I ain't got no beef with Tom Jones.

However, I can't watch The Voice (not that I would by choice) without a bucket for the puke I involuntarily do at the sycophancy on that show.

They could do away with 3 of the chairs so the other judges could all sit on his lap.

Well boardsies, how did I do?

I think my voice held up pretty well

I've been confused about the Tom Jones thing. He was on the radio earlier, but was on the phone. So if he's "live on the Late Late Show" tonight does he record it over in Wales (with local representative Welsh Megaman on the camcorder and looking after the sheep)? or how does that work?

So RTÉ lifted a Tom Jones recording in a different studio and passed it off as their own.

    Masterful.

Also, this thing with Tom Jones and Shirley Bassy is brilliant

"I love Shirley, love her to bits, but she doesn't have the range"

You could listen to every song Tom Jones has ever sung before this interview will get to the point

I fear once Covid is over the Green's will have signed us up to 40% remote guests on TV shows to save on carbon emissions.

A bit like Top of the Pops showing a music video when the artist could not be in studio

All the love here for Tom Jones. A guy who very publicly cheated (and bragged about it) on his wife for over 50 years. The poor woman was a recluse who apparently had mental health problem...is it any surprise. But sure it's Tom Jones singing superstar, so I guess its okay then.

    In fairness, I'd agree.

He apparently was a sleezebag who was a serial cheater.

I'd love his voice but I wouldn't be inviting him home tbh.

He'd have fitted well in with the Royal family tbh............... (just thought I'd throw that in)

Very long story - what was wrong with him ?
