Damage to iPhone 11 - turning itself off

I let my iPhone 11 fall and unfortunately its turning itself off now every 3 to 5 minutes. This appears to be an issue between the battery and a thermostat. I brought it to a local shop but they're telling me it'll cost 189 and that the phone will be away for five to ten days for a repair. Does that sound correct? From…

From reading online, I had thought it would be simple enough to repair.
