I transfer beer 2days after 1st fermentation , into bottles with a 1/2 teaspoon sugar per 500ml bottle.

I have bought some islinglass and think that I should add to fermenting bucket just before transferring to bottles as I'm scared there won't be enough yeast left in solution to do the gassing job.
Am I wrong in this? Should I add islinglass a few days before bottling?
I personally don't mind some hazy beers but unfortunately it puts alot of beer drinkers right off. It's amazing the different phycology of drinkers re haze.

I wouldn’t be keen on adding it after the initial boil pre fermentation.

The standard process is to cold crash the beer in a fridge.
