    Great Expectations I read as a teenager and to date, is the only Dickens novel I have finished. I must give him another chance.

    @Zaph, John Green wrote, amongst others, the novel The Fault In Our Stars which was excellent and subsequently made into a film. He's definitely a writer I will return to someday.
