I want a whole plate of stuffing just by itself!

Can't offer any stuffing, I'm afraid. my Christmas day duck was lost with all hands... 😁😇🦆

Just catching a breath after clearing up the kitchen here. Going to try a second run with the Xbox, the software updates should be just about done now...

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

I was up early this morning and made myself a nice fry up. Had it while watching Some like it hot. Then I fell asleep on the couch. Girls surfaced and we did the pressie thing. Dinner was tasty too.

Watching Indiana Jones and the Dial of CGI. Not impressed and I saw Raiders on its original release. Thankfully Mrs G has prepared a ham cheese tomato and onion sandwich ready for toasting. AKA a toasted special .

Raiders of the Lost Ark and that other thing should not be mentioned in the same sentence.

In other news on Guinness no 4, which is my go-to drink.

Still downloading updates here... Plus about 80GB of scenery files for Flight Simulator 🤯 😵‍💫😵‍💫😤

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

Oof that's a lot even to my little out of date mind

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,454 ✭✭✭SuperBowserWorld

Have you series S or X ? I have that game a spin, it's for flight SIM enthauasists, and went over my head. Some of the areas have incredible detail. And some a lot less.

Series S, I've been a Flight Sim "addict" since MSFS 2002, although it's a bit harder to get into it on the Xbox, mostly because there are very few useful flight sticks.

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

After all the stress and panic it all came together lovely.

Relaxing with the Mrs now and I can safely say another Christmas in the bag. Maybe I just enjoy the misery of killing myself in the kitchen. 🤣

Ok, let me know how you get on. I've a relative here who was big into flight Sims, but I don't have the knowledge to convince him re the Xbox version.

Last guest just gone home and place cleaned, wife and a friendly chef fed us, while the guests left us with a tonne of cakes.

Blue was super cool with a house full of people but they were all asked not to feed him.

Chilling in a horizontal position on the sofa here at home watching an episode of The Crown with my OH after a really chilled but lovely Christmas Day exchanging pressies (very happy - more Lego and some nice clothes 😁) followed by phone calls to siblings and then a delightful dinner of turkey, stuffing, hock ham, roasties, sprouts, carrots and parsnips. Dessert was a trifle. 😋😋

Had a neighbour and friend drop in for a while later on and now nearly zonked out but happy. Got some Lego sets built too! 😁 🧱

Hope yiz all had a good day!

St. Stephen's Day (it'll always be Boxing Day for me!) food is cold cuts, salads, assorted cheeses etc in a grab-as-you-want-it style.

    Preparation: minimum

    Relaxation: maximum
