You don't know what you're missing. My dad used to cook an absolutely divine "Berliner Leber". That's pan-fried beef liver served with loads of sauteed onions, caramelised apple slices and mashed potatoes. Absolutely divine! Wish he was still around.

Alternatively, I've heard that fava beans and a nice chianti go well with liver as well :P :D

I've had liver as a child but now as an adult cooking my own meals, I wouldn't allow it inside the door. Satan's food :p

Today is the last day I get my godson for babysitter duties, his mother works in carphone warehouse....so she finishes up today...
I'm actually gutted :D of course I'll still see him, but having him around 3 days a week helps my focus & keeps me busy....maybe I should start a daddy daycare :D

I can’t believe that people haven’t tried liver and onions :):)

Lazy day for me so far, hope it stays that way as I’m jaded.

Sitting out the back with a big mug of tea. Lovely day for it.

Nothing wrong with 80000 steps, Grem! Hopefully the motivation will return as the pain decreases.

Deskside at work. Can someone please pass the alcohol? Whiskey, vodka, tequila, hell, I'd even take medical alcohol given how the day is going!

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

I'll gladly accept any free alcohol too.

Lovely day out there and the weeds are thriving, I might have to actually do something about them soon.

In the garden most of the day doing bits and bobs. Now frying mushrooms and onions while having a beer.

Thanks, but I hope that corporate Darwinism will take care of this. Won't go into details as I don't want to air dirty laundry outside the company.

Go with the alcohol instead Forget your weeds. I've a virtual Coors Light if that's any use. That said I had some solitude in the garden today. Now I'm no gardener, but it was a nice clean up on stuff you only notice when you are fooking sick and tired of being out of full time work due to uncle covid and looking to do **** to keep body and soul together.:D I even joined a Q at a car wash this morning eating sausage rolls and having random chat with others about our lives. An instant therapy session outdoors at a fooking car wash.
