Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

(((HUGS))) Yes indeed we do! So sorry! They still are searching for a definitive diagnosis for M.E. I was totally misdiagnosed for 30 years and that did so much addititional damage. And I never now expect any appropriete medical care. I am in an excellent online forum " Phoenix Rising" but at my advanced age I just focus on the things I can still do without causing a relapse. Life is still beautiful and precious.

Shenanagins here today. Had to reluctantly get ambulance before lunch for Grumpy. Crew gave him a good checking out and we all agreed that the issue was resolving and it was better to let him recover at home than be parked on a trolley in a corridor in A&E for hours surrounded by chaos and infection only to be told eventually that the issue is resolved for now, away home with you. So yet another day in the bed for him. This is becoming his default now saddly. He's just had a bit of supper. Waiting on his carer so we can attend to him and settle him for the night. Fingers crossed its a quiet one.

    1740 Kms In 4 days 😂😂😂

Absolutely beautiful views that the phone cameras didn’t do justice to. But it is just amazing to watch the transformation of the landscape.

Starts with my morning caravan view, some Ottoman constructions and a working man.

Oh @Sardonicat that's rough. I hope you can manage a bit of rest *boobly hugs* as always

It's our "new normal" now. Tomorrow, I'll have managed to have kept him out of hospital a whole week. Not gonna lie, I'm on edge with him most if the time. But, I chose to care for him myself. As they say, when you sign up to be a soldier you must expect to do some soldiering.

You're doing a fantastic job Sardi, it isn't easy, I'll say no more because I don't want to sound patronising but well done girl.💕

I went shopping today, honestly thought the place would be empty but it was packed, the food court was crazy, it's like Christmas never happened and we're all just out and about as usual....I had 2 takeaway coffees. ☺️

Thanks Grem. Currently sitting on his crash mat just out of his eyeline. He's got notions tonight to try and climb out of bed. Mat is surprisingly comfortable. Hoping and praying his sedation kicks in soon. I need the loo!

In cheerier news, Mrs G is well enough to face a proper dinner tomorrow, half leg of lamb is go!. Will get roasties and stud it with garlic in the morning 😃

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,408 ✭✭✭✭Sardonicat

Ohh, that sounds delish. I'm bit the greatest lover of lamb but when it's studded with garlic it's a winner. Mrs. G gets her Christmas feast at last.

Watching Celebrity Catchphrase drinking tea and eating Roses. It's all our poor minds can cope with at the moment.

We are recovering from melting faces in Raiders of the lost ark.

Edit ... my brain and body is officially cheese.

That show sounds intriguing G, is it on youtube?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,209 ✭✭✭✭Grandeeod

Suppin that beer. You'd need it watching this. Not on YouTube. But the pilot is. Search the black stuff. Pilot was 1980. Series was 82.

TV on silent here, spotify on phone connected to bluetooth speakers, great sound, mainly Fleetwood and Dire Straits but a few other favourites in the mix, half regretting not going out tonight but the effort....meeting my friends for brekkie tg, cabin fever setting in.

We were watching raiders too and as it's on every year you get immune to it. Until you look at your eldest whose eyes are out on stalks as Indy is crashing into skeleton after skeleton.....and you think maybe this isn't the most suitable thing on tv for them 😂🤣🤣

I told them all to bring the kids wellie boots so they can go run around and play ball in the garden, let off a bit of energy.

Chilled out here on my hotel bed, was out and about in the locality today after a very late lie in, followed by a swim in the hotel pool as the sun began to set over Faro.

OH has come down with a tummy bug so he's taking it very easy. Planning on seeing some sights in the Western Algarve tomorrow.

    Night all! 😴 🛏

Sardonicat, thinking of you and your dad tonight. There's no Christmas break when you're doing your job.

I'm only coming right today after 6 days of the flu. Still a bit breathless but that flattened feeling is gone.

Duvet, what happened to the party animal you had become in December? Go for a liquid breakfast tomorrow I say 😋

I'm not able for your disco, Grem and Bones. I'm not well up enough on music to even suggest a tune 😁
