Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Recruitment agency

    If a person applies for a position, and on the job advert, the contact person is from a recruitment agency, how does the hiring process work in a case like this, in terms of interviews?
    Probably a silly question but in a case like this, who actually conducts the interview, is it the recruiter or the company they are working on behalf of?.
    Any further information appreciated.

    A good recruiter should conduct an initial interview and if they deem you a good fit they will put you forward for the role and the employer will take over the interview process.

    What can I expect to happen now?
    I was told by recruiter that the hiring manager has to make contact with them about interview dates.
    Is it the role of the recruiter to conduct the interviews or the company they work on behalf of?

    Can depend on a lot of things, length of contract, urgency, hiring process, relationship between agency and company however in the vast majority of situations the Hiring Manager does the interview and decides who to hire. The agency Recruiter in this situation is basically the candidate finder, administrator and Recruitment coordinator and of course they offer the job, handle start date, can even handle payroll, onboarding and contracts etc. They should also be making sure you're happy with salary, location etc and they'll probably want to interview prep you as well after they get times from hiring manager
